IWL Grant Buys a Chair for Gemma

"Hello! I wanted to share a picture of our sweet Gemma and her new chair, which was bought utilizing IWL grant funding. The chair enables Gemma to build her functional strength, with the goal of one day being strong enough to use a power wheelchair to control her own mobility. Gemma, who is celebrating her third birthday today, is the granddaughter of proud Italian immigrants, and is thriving at ACDS despite a difficult diagnosis of Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) which presents her with many challenges. We are eternally grateful to IWL for supporting ACDS, Gemma and her family."
