In May, the IWL took a 9-day journey to the Veneto Region and experienced the roads less traveled. We discovered the rare beauty of Verona, Vicenza, Asolo, Bassano del Grappa, Treviso and Trieste. The last evening of our trip featured a private tour and wine tasting with a sommelier at the Bastianich Winery in Friuli, along with a four-course dinner with wine pairings at the Bastianich restaurant. This special wine and dine experience was arranged by world-renowned chef and restaurateur Lidia Bastianich.
