Grace Ferri began her fundraising career as Director of Annual Giving & Special Events at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx where she managed a $2.5 million annual giving program. In 2007, she joined United Hebrew of New Rochelle, a 7.5 acre multi-service senior living campus, as Director of Development. In 2012, she was promoted to Vice President of Development and Marketing to create strategies to position United Hebrew as the leading senior services campus in Westchester.
As an ambassador for United Hebrew’s comprehensive campus of care, Grace provides essential information and one-on-one counseling to help families and their loved ones navigate the complex pathways of health care and identify the level of care that’s right for them. She also oversees United Hebrew’s fundraising events and development plan. In 2019, she will assist the campus’ initiative in a year-long community celebration of its Centennial. She was named the 2012 Professional Fundraiser of the Year by the Association of Development Officers and was the past president of the board of directors. In 2018, Grace broadened her skill set by becoming certified as a Partner in Care with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
Her nonprofit career has been complemented with community service. She is the Executive Administrator for the Italian American Forum and was the 2018 co-chair of the Go Red for Women Luncheon for the American Heart Association. She has served on the board of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Association of Development Officers as well as several other board committees including the Westchester Italian Cultural Center, the New Rochelle Police Foundation and Richmond Community Services.
